The 942 became available in very limited quantities 3-19-05. This dual tuner model is essentially an HDTV version of the DVR522.
Due to an injunction resulting from TiVo's lawsuit, any existing inventory that has never been activated will not be released to customers. (engadget, 4/08) If replacement is needed, a 622 will be sent.
